From the wine-growing land of Maresme comes a new publishing label, Vibop, that unites the world of wine and literature. These are very well edited booklets (plaquettes) that, in Deulonder, have called our attention for good taste and originality. «It is an editorial that was born with the will to carry out a personal project and also to claim that the world of wine is also culture, culture with capital letters», defends the editor Montse Serra. The spectrum of topics discussed is wide, but always It brings together two aspects closely related to cooking, such as the world of wine linked to literature and culture in general. Some of the first titles already show the philosophy of this editorial directed by the cultural journalist Montse Serra. «I named it Vibop, which comes from a cycle of jazz and wines that we organize in Alella and includes the two key terms ‘wine’ and ‘good’: I liked this name because it has a walk, a dance,» says the editor.

The first collection, Envinats, began to walk just over a year ago and paired the wine with the arts and creation. Some of the titles in this collection are A l’avantguarda del vi, by the prestigious sommelier Josep Roca; Les olors in literature, a very original libretto that collects literary texts linked to the aromas of Vicenç Pagès Jordà; Vins by heart, twelve autobiographical articles by writers such as Josep M. Espinàs, Màrius Serra and Julià Guillamon or Vinos, vinets y vinasses’, by Enric Satué.
