A kitchen in the center of Madrid
We present the project that Lluïsa Deulonder has recently carried out in a home in the center of Madrid. It is a 34 square meter space that was previously a bedroom and that we have transformed into a magnificent kitchen-dining area with an island. This is the demonstration of how you can take advantage of space with a good distribution and give a refined English touch to a Madrid apartment.
This beautiful space allows for a fully equipped kitchen, an office area for more casual dining, an island separating the kitchen and dining areas, a china cabinet, a breakfast nook, a large appliance area, and a pantry area.

This new glass door creates an open flow between the kitchen and the rest of the house.
The floor is made of oak creating a uniformity of spaces.
In this area, we have a hidden radiator with a ventilated cabinet painted to match the furniture.
The Liebherr refrigerator and freezer are integrated.

Comfortable breakfast nook with a bench upholstered in a nice striped fabric. Up to six people can eat.
The table is illuminated by two white lamps.
The island contains the sink and dishwasher area. It is built on two levels, which provides a clearer division of the dining area. We’ve also added an LED light that illuminates the entire work surface, while the sides of the island are fitted with additional storage units.

One of the star pieces of furniture is this large pantry cabinet with interior LED lighting and containing six practical drawers.
The doors are ventilated to facilitate food preservation. The handles are made of shell.
You can also see that the interior is lacquered white, just like the Corian top.
Even small shelves have been hung on the doors to put small products.

Here you can see the detail of the door of the column furniture, which has ventilation grilles at the top.
