Dream corner that encourages reading and spending a few hours of rest
Beige and gray color combination
You can see the furniture with black pulleys that hide the bar cabinet. When it is open we bar access to the room. The open hallway furniture is covered in sheet iron. The woodshed is also lined with iron. The wood is stripped pine.
In the bedroom, an upholstered headboard has been made and some Deulonder design lamps have been made with the fabric. The wood was covered to give it the appearance of a mountain house.
The staircase is wallpapered with a Scottish checkered paper in the same tones as the house and some black iron sconces. The bedrooms are very simple, with a shelf that frames the beds. The headboard is made of imitation linen sack fabric.
Details that add warmth: the shelves stand out in an old-fashioned way.
The lighting elements have been played with black, as well as the handles.
Hallway from the house to the garage where the laundry is. Ventilated cabinets to store ski clothing and some racks have been placed below to put ski boots. The floor is imitation slate.
In the guest toilet they have also played with painted slats. A round mirror has been centered on a marble sink. The wainscot is high and the rest is made of gray Flamand paper.
A decoration full of details
Among the details that bring warmth to this space we have the bar cabinet to hang the glasses; the pine doors where you can see the grain of the wood; the wall light that crowns the staircase in black iron; the Deulonder design wall light in the bedroom that goes behind the headboard and upholstered with the same fabric as the curtains, and finally the corner, with a skirt to cover the drums of the blinds that were protruding after a renovation.
