Maison&Objet Off: Paris is a party of elegant and original shops

On the fringes of the Maison & Objet fair, Paris is adorned during the days of the event and, despite the chilly January temperatures, it is always a good opportunity to take a tour of the city of lights.

The streets dress up to be in tune with the decoration fair. The shops are quite an attraction, and they leave the passerby open-mouthed, such as La Chambre aux Confitures (2, Rue des Martyrs, 75009 Paris).

Here you can find all the possible jams and a great variety of specialties. All this, very well presented.

And what about the bakery?, they look like jewelries. Some do not have a counter, and one enters, letting oneself be dazzled by the exhibits.

One of the supermarkets has stolen the hearts of  Lluïsa Deulonder and Chone de la Sotilla: the Bon marché de la Rive Gauche (24 Rue de Sèvres, 75007 Paris): everything goes through the eyes.

The supermarket devotes an exclusive section to vegetables. In another stand they have the ecological ones, so fresh they seem to be still in the crop.
Another store only sells brown glacés … oh! Là là!

Of course, one can not leave Paris without having tried a boeuf bourguignon before … who knows if this was not really the purpose of the trip!
