What’s cooking in Barquillo Street?

For the second year in a row, Deulonder will take part in Casa Décor Madrid 2014, held between the 22nd of May and the 22nd of June.

Encouraged by the Audience Award they received at the previous year’s edition, Lluïsa Deulonder and Chone de la Sotilla, both domestic interior designers, plan to decorate a space that will be full of revelations as well as fabulous ideas. We don’t want to spoil the surprise but we can advance that this open central island kitchen plus pantry space is equipped with an outstanding La Cornue hob, offering an amazing 120cm wide gas range, a Flamberge (you will have to wait and see what this wonderful equipment can do), an extraordinary versatile fridge and stainless steel wine rack, all framed in a sleek white kitchen combining pale noble finished oak work surfaces and a chocolate brown Neolith floor. The temperature and humidity controlled multipurpose food storage pantry will leave you lost for words. This little corner is designed to store products that require low temperatures between 8-15 degrees C, but don’t need to be refrigerated. Other details that spring to life in this reserved yet snug space is a rug from the United States that brings warmth to the island area, as well as a white porcelain sink «made in UK». And that is as much as we can tell you for now…

If you want to uncover the whole project, just follow the coordinates: Calle Barquillo number 12 in Madrid. Date: May 22nd.
