An autumn of trips in search of new trends

An autumn of trips in search of new trends

Oct 23, 2024

The two interior designers from Deulonder, Chone de la Sotilla and Lluïsa Deulonder, have linked a couple of trips this autumn to attend international decoration fairs. It’s about being up to date and hunting for the latest trends in interior design and decoration. First of all, they went to Paris, where they never miss the Maison&Objet fair, a place where all the latest innovations and the most refined proposals from around the world come together. Afterwards, they went to Valencia, to the Habitat Valencia fair, which took place from September 30 to October 3.

One of the most interesting aspects of attending these decoration fairs is the fact of being able to discover new trends in terms of color range. The different shades will thus mark the season and the interior designs. The trend is to use soft and subtle tones. On the other hand, it is worth highlighting in this edition of the fair the proliferation of organic materials, such as glass, wood and natural fibers that contribute to creating a warm atmosphere in the different spaces. In lighting, for example, more emphasis is placed on a type of warm light, an impression that is reinforced by screens, for example, made of copper.

In Valencia, Chone de la Sotilla and Lluïsa Deulonder have savored the different proposals of the Hábitat Valencia Fair. As in Paris, natural materials are in fashion and warm environments stand out.

The two interior designers looked in Valencia at some samples of very original handles from the prestigious French kitchen house Lacanche. The possibility of being able to choose the handle model and color allows you to personalize the kitchen and give it a unique appearance. In addition, it also gives more play when it comes to combining colors with the rest of the kitchen elements and dressing the space. Lacanche sells both industrial and home kitchens and was born in the 18th century. Their kitchens are characterized by the elegance of their modules called “cooking pianos” for their majesty.

The handles, which can be copper, silver, chrome or not, are combined with the fronts of different shades, such as the blue one shown in the photograph.

This kitchen-barbecue offers a type of cooking basically for outdoors. It is a very innovative type of kitchen, with a dome-shaped lid, which Deulonder will distribute soon.
